Travelling with God is a great journey

Travelling with God is a great journey. It's like travelling down an unknown road that is adorned with wondrous sights, smells, places and things to experience. For each one of us God has a different path for us to tread. My path is not the same as yours yet God wants you to stay on His path that He has laid before each of you. We may not know what is around the next bend with God, but we know all His plans are good. We have a very capable God who is able to help us in any situation and at any time in our life. Trusting God in your life is what He desires in your life and keeping on that narrow path He has laid before you.
In the life of the church I believe God is calling us in the 21st Century to "launch out into the deep" and go to the next level of trust and commitment. I believe this step is in the realm of seeking God's face and listening to Him individually and corporately as a church.
I remember a pastor saying "if prayer does not cost you anything it's not really prayer". How true are those words. Prayer is the most important thing in the church but oh how we easily worm our ways out of it and replace it with the unimportant things in life.
2 Chronicles 7:13 God says "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, v.14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
